What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, the address of the property or site, and anything else you tell us when you use our contact form, email us, phone us or message us on WhatsApp.
- Customer records: details needed to quote for, carry out and invoice our work, such as contact details, site details, photos of the work, reports and payment records.
- Technical data: our website host and security provider (Cloudflare) process your IP address and browser information to deliver the site and protect it from attack.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote: legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To carry out and invoice work: performance of a contract.
- To keep accounting and tax records: legal obligation.
- To keep the website secure and working: legitimate interests.
- To occasionally ask past customers for a review: legitimate interests. You can tell us to stop at any time.
We do not sell your information or use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We only share information with trusted providers who help us run the business, under contract and only as needed:
- our website hosting and security provider (Cloudflare)
- our contact form and enquiry management provider (LeadConnector/HighLevel)
- our email and phone providers
- our accountant
We also share it with regulators or authorities if the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the UK (for example, in the USA). Where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or UK–US Data Bridge certification.
Cookies and third-party content
Our site uses only essential cookies. Cloudflare sets a security cookie (__cf_bm) to filter out bots. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Some pages show content from other companies: Google Maps, Google Fonts, our contact form (LeadConnector) and a WhatsApp link. When this content loads, those companies may receive your IP address and set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 12 months.
- Customer and job records: 6 years after the end of the job, for tax and legal reasons.
- Reports and certificates may be kept longer where needed for safety or insurance purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it
- ask us to restrict how we use it
- object to us using it
- ask for a copy to be sent to another organisation
